Returns & Refunds

Moms Payig Moms does not offer returns or refunds because each Mom shop operates indpendently.This means that each mom decides their return & refund policy.

More importatly, we offer a varried amount of services that do not qualify for refunds. There are no refunds  for digital services and virtual services.

When you purchase from a mom who sells a physical object. You will have to verify her Terms and Condition on her return and refund policy before you purchase.

If however, there are serious issues with your item/service. Read below to learn what you can do to get heard.

Order Problems? Now WHAT?

Contact the seller

Anytime you need to inquire about your order, you should always contact your mom seller by email.

Each Seller runs their shop independently from our marketplace. You must verify the seller’s returns and refunds policies. 

Inform the seller

If at any time, you feel that the issue is not being resolved send an email to

 info@momspayingmoms.com 

with the subject heading COMPLAINT/DISPUTE.

If your claims are legitimate, we will mediate between you and the vendor.

Vendor accountability

Mom sellers are expected to be honest and transparent with their mom buyers.If we receive multiple complaints about a mom shop or if the reviews are poor, we can deactivate that shop and prevent that mom seller from joining our marketplace.

Account Privacy & Payment

We value transparency and want to make sure you are well aware of how we take care of your privacy and security. Also, our marketplace only accepts payments with STRIPE and Paypal, which means you need a STRIPE or Paypal account to make purchases and to sell. Your Protection and Our Standards

MPM manually verifies accounts. We at this time will not enforce ID or SMS verificaion, but we are actively making changes as our platfrom begins to grow in numbers. Your safety is our priority.

This means we take zero risk and will deactivate any accounts we deem suspcisious.

Our priority is to ensure the safety and integrity of our community. Therefore, if we suspect an account is fraudalent, We have the right to terminate your shop without giving you any reason.

We realize that purchasing online can feel scary. This is why we have a Buyer Protection. Please read to see how this applies to you here.

How Do I Place an Order?

You can place an order as a Mom Member by signing up here. You can also check out as a mom guest.

Cancelling, Tracking, or Changing Orders

All Mom Shops run independently.

There are no returns or refunds for digtal and virtual services.

For physical products, anytime you need to change, ask for a return, or track a product, you must contact the seller.

 

 

Payout, Fees & USD Currency

we offer two types of memberships:

Free membership for all those who join Moms Paying Moms. However, when you choose to sell on our marketplace, we take a 20% commission fee from that completed purchase. You are also responisble for Stripe or Paypal processing fee of 3.2% and 4.5% for anyone outside of Canada.You can learn more about Paypals’ service fee here, and Stripes’ here

Annual Fee: you can pay an annual membership of 50$ USD in exchange for a 5% commission plus the service fees mentioned above. Note there are no refunds for annual subscriptions.

With Stripe and Paypal payouts are automatic. Be aware that we do not apply taxes because we are a broker marketplace. Hence that means you are  responsible for the collection and/or payment of any sales tax (including where applicable, goods and services taxes (GST) or other similar sales, use, or value-added taxes) you may owe (collectively “Sales Tax”).

Moms Paying Moms operates in USD currency.

Who Qualifies as a Mom Seller?

A Seller is a mother who uses the pronouns She, Her, and they.

Sellers are allowed to sell physical products that are not food related; Digital resoures & art.  Sellers can also be a mom professional who can offer online virtual services that help empower mothers. 

We unfortunately do not promote local mom businesses.

What Happens if I Don't Receive My Order?

If your order is missing, but it says it’s been delivered.

Verify with your neighbours to make sure they do not have your package accidentally.

Contact your local post office for any lost or misplaced parcel. You can also ask the Mom seller if she would be willing to open a joint postal/shipping claim.
